This notice explains the limited information FashionMember may receive through normal website operation and through forms you choose to submit. Last updated September 4, 2026.
Technical information
Hosting, security, caching, and WordPress services may process routine request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamps, and error or security logs. Article activity counts use a visible-time and reading-position signal. A daily keyed hash of the requesting IP address and article limits repeat counts for up to 24 hours; this counter does not retain the raw IP address or link activity to a newsletter account. Shared networks may be undercounted, and these signals are not verified visitor counts.
How information is used
Information may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, respond to requests, evaluate editorial leads, operate an opted-in newsletter, understand aggregate article readership, and maintain security and records.
Choices and questions
You may ask a privacy question or request review of information you previously submitted. Service providers and legal obligations may affect retention and deletion. This operational notice should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel as services change.
Saved stories on your browser
When you choose Save, My FashionMember stores the story link, title, and desk in local browser storage. This list is not transmitted to FashionMember, attached to an account, or synchronized across devices. Remove a saved story on the Saved page or clear this site’s browser data to erase the list. Private browsing and blocked storage may prevent persistence. Session storage also helps limit repeated article-activity requests.
